The collaboration between Chrome Hearts and The Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation was an alliance formed over dinner when someone mentioned that if Robert were alive today, he would be wearing Chrome Hearts. Then and there the partnership was born. The foundation worked closely with Chrome Hearts in the concept and design process to create clothing, jewelry and accessories inspired by Mapplethorpe's works.
